Out of school provision
During term time we operate a Breakfast Club opening at 7:30am each morning. This is then supported by a variety of After School Clubs or the option to access an After School Care facility provided by PT Childcare which runs until 6pm. The PT Childcare provision is a privately run organisation operating on the school premises.
During the school holidays PT Childcare are open from 7:45am to 6pm every week day. Again, this operates from the school site.
PT Childcare also provides sessions during INSET (Teacher Training Days) every year.
Breakfast Club
Open from 7:30am to 8:45am every week day.
Children are provided with a variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast with numerous spreads, bagels, crumpets, pancakes and different fruit juices to drink. We are also able to offer hot food options including poached eggs, scrambled eggs and beans on toast.
Pupils also engage in a range of activities each morning to ensure they have a vibrant start to the day.
Arrival is from any time from 7:30am. Entry is via the KS1 (Year 1) door and pupils need to be signed in by an adult. Each session costs £5.00 with bookings made via your online account in Arbor. Pupils must be booked in 24 hours in advance of the session.
**We are pleased to confirm that, following the successful pilot at Le Cateau, the MOD Wraparound Care (WAC) provision has been implemented and is available at Le Cateau. More information can be found on the link.
DURING SATS WEEK children in Year 6 are invited to come to school early and have breakfast with us. This is available at a special rate supported via Pupil Premium.
'The food is great!!!' says Lauren in Year 6. 'I have been attending Breakfast Club for about 3 years'
1. Children must be booked into Breakfast Club before 3:30pm on the day prior to attendance; this includes bookings on a Friday in preparation for Monday.
2. Bookings must be paid for in advance using the online payment system through Arbor. The booking will only be confirmed if payment is made. Cancellations must be made by 3pm on the day before otherwise a full charge will be made.
3. All children must be escorted to the Breakfast Club doors and the adult must wait with the children until the Breakfast Club doors are opened and the children enter school. Each pupil attending the Breakfast Club will be signed in using the Arbor electronic system which indicates that your child has been booked in and that a payment has been received.
