Head to the garden
The garden is an ideal location for developing a child's knowledge and understanding of a range of elements.
Not only does it allow children to be physical, they are also developing a key awareness of nature and scientific knowledge.
Children will be able to see nature at first hand through planting and watching growth over time.
The changing of seasons also allows children to develop their understanding of the world around them.
Children will see a range of colours and hear many sounds. Building on this, they are able to use what they see and hear in their art work or thinking about music.
