Set a routine
In order to help your child concentrate at school, it is important to set a clear routine.
Child respond well to routine and it helps them with their learning. The daily routine needs to be reinforced so talking to them is helpful.
Having a timetable on the fridge or somewhere in the home is helpful. It supports your child in knowing what is ahead but can also be used as a tool to reflect upon what they have done during the day.
Routines are also important for completing homework, reading and learning spellings. By setting aside a time during the evening or at a weekend, your child will quickly develop an understanding.
