Our school
Over 70% of our children come from families where one or both parents serve with the military.
We pride ourselves on being a fully inclusive school. Our children come from a variety of backgrounds allowing us to celebrate and enjoy this diversity.
We cater for children from 3 to 11 years of age. We aim to ensure that all the children have the opportunity to develop physically, socially, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually to the best of their capabilities.
This website will give you information about many aspects of our school, however, there is no substitute for coming to see the school in action. If you are moving into the Garrison and thinking about sending your child to us, please arrange a mutually convenient time to call in and see us. We will be delighted to give you a tour.
The building comprises of a Foundation Stage unit, eighteen classrooms, a large hall, a library, a conference room, office accommodation, a school kitchen and a range of break out areas including toilet/cloakroom facilities. The buildings are surrounded by spacious, well maintained grounds which include a large playing field, a MUGA (multi use games area) and three playgrounds. The site also includes an allotment area, an area to house our chickens and a Forest School area. The school has an open aspect surrounded by woodland and streams.
Our location is at the heart of the Garrison and gives easy access to the North Yorkshire Dales with easy access to the M1.
